The Pittsfield High School community mournfully acknowledges the passing of one of our students. PHS senior Cody Walston unexpectedly passed away today. It is a terribly sad day for Pittsfield High School and our school family is devastated at the loss of such a fine young man. The thoughts and prayers of the entire Pittsfield High School community go out the Walston family. Cody was an exceptional young man with a tremendous smile and wonderful personality. Cody was a friend to all and a true Saukee through and through. There was no one who worked harder in the classroom or the football field. Cody will be greatly missed by the entire Pittsfield High School family, especially his friends and teammates. As our school community mourns the passing of this amazing young man, we ask the community to please keep the Walston family and our students and staff in their thoughts and prayers in the coming days. Additional counselors will available in our schools this week to meet with students and staff.
